Frequently Asked Questions

The closest airport is the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID), located in Cedar Rapids. The airport is roughly 25 minutes from our venue and hotels.

The Quad Cities International Airport in Moline, IL is also an option, and is about an hour away.

Chicago O’Hare is the nearest major airport, but requires a 3.5 hour drive.

Absolutely! In fact, we (especially Dakota) would love to host your little ones at our celebration.

During the dinner service portion of our reception, kids can hang in our dedicated (chaperoned!) lounge. The lounge will include a kid-friendly buffet, snacks, activities, and a movie. After the dinner service, kids are welcome to stay in the lounge or join the party on the dance floor.

Please include your children in your RSVP and let us know whether they plan to sit with you during dinner with an adult entree or enjoy a kids meal in the lounge.

Yes! We will provide a shuttle service to and from the Hyatt hotel in Coralville and the Graduate hotel in Iowa City.

Yes! Hancher has ample free parking for any guests who choose to drive.

Our Welcome Party at Big Grove on Friday night is casual - please wear whatever you’d like.

We kindly ask that guests wear cocktail attire for our ceremony and reception.

Our ceremony will begin shortly after 4:00 PM. Please arrive at Hancher at or a little before 4 to enjoy a glass of wine and find your seat.

No - our entire ceremony and reception will be held indoors.
